Let's start with Kotobukiya. This is Hitagi Senjougahara from "Bakemonogatari," which is expected to be the next big hit.
Here's a yukata version of Rei Ayanami from "Evangelion." It's scheduled for release in summer, the perfect yukata season.
A sentimental blast from the (not-so-distant) past: Here's Serika Kurusugawa from the first-generation "To Heart." Even older characters are getting new versions.
This plastic model kit series is from "Hoi Hoi-san," which is an under-the-radar hit. A third character, Pest X-san, has been introduced. She looks dressed to kill--literally!
Jaldabaoth from "Super Robot Wars" is getting the model kit treatment! Just looking at the prototype, it's clear that this is going to be a big package.
This is a robot from Kotobukiya's original Frame Arms series. The new product is the militaristic Type 32 Model 5 Zenrai.
From the same Frame Arms series comes the SA-16d Kufanjaru. It seems kind of like the number-two mecha in a series, piloted by the rival character.
Kotobukiya's D-Style series (D is for "deformed," of course!) will continue with the White Glint from "Patlabor," now in the planning stages.
And now let's move on to Alter. Gigantic signs for "Lyrical Nanoha" and "K-On!" were very conspicious.
From "Oboromura Masa," here's the lead character, Momo-Hime. Her soft clothing and hard armor have been very accurately reproduced.
Here's the Mio Akiyama School Festival Version from "K-On!" Unlike the uniform version, here she looks a ilttle bit embarrassed.
Azusa Nakano from the same series. No doubt this one will sell out immediately, too.
Clalaclan Philias from "Shining Wind" will be released in an armored version. She's a gallant princess.
From "Valkyrie Chronicles" comes a Valkyrie version of Salvaria Bles. Her hair is modeled so that it looks like it's covered in flames.
And here's Azone. They're really pushing "K-On!" as well. All five members have been turned into dolls.
Keyboardist Tsumugu Kotobuki will be available in April for a price of 14,700 yen.
Here's drummer Ritsu Tainaka. Sadly, it seems that she won't come with her drum set...
And finally there's the newest member, Azusa Nakano. She really works as an Azone doll.
Here's Ma-Ryan from "To Heart 2." Although she's an older character, her proportions seem very immature--it's that Azone influence again.
Another nostalgic moment--from the magical girl series "Creamy Mami," here's Yu Morisawa.
Now Yamato's booth. Following on the heels of the Rei Ayanami figure, a Shunya Yamashita version of Asuka Langley is in the planning stages.
Tamaki Kousaka makes her appearance in Yamato's lineup of posable figures. her expression is from the orthodox school of
moe.
Heat Blade, in the Tsukasa Bullet figure series, is also in the planning stages.
Here's the Super Soniko Baby Doll Version. She comes with a wealth of accessories, including a guitar, a refrigerator, and a stuffed teddy bear.
