This is just one side of the event's striking walkaround display of current and upcoming Robot Damashii figures!
EVA-02 from the “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance” movie makes a running start for the Side EVA lineup in the Robot Damashii. This sharply detailed and extremely poseable action figure will come packed with a wide range of weapons including a crossbow, rifle, and progressive knives, as well as interchangeable arms and optional hands. Price and release date have not yet been announced.
This upcoming action figure release of Zegapain Altair will feature an array of clear color plastic parts. Price and release date have not yet been announced.
Presented at the show was an unpainted prototype of a silver Nirvash type the END as a Robot Damashii action figure entry. Price and release date have yet to be announced.
Currently in development is a Robot Damashii figure of the Spearhead LFO from "Eureka Seven." Planned for release in Spring 2010--stay tuned!
These two armored Valkyries will soon be released as a non-transformable Robot Damashii figure with Alto's custom mech (below left) out next month and Michael's custom to follow in December. Each is planned to retail for 2,800 yen.
On display was a painted prototype of a Robot Damashii Bonta-kun action figure! Watch our for this mascot robot suit coming in the near future!
This action figure of a blue-and-white crossbow version of the Savage Arm Slave is planned for release sometime in Spring 2010, for a price not yet announced.
Kurz's Arm Slave M9 Gernsback from the "Full Metal Panic!" anime will see a January release as a Robot Damashii action figure! It's planned to retail for 3,500 yen.
Another fantastic new announcement for the Robot Damashi toy line, V2 Assault Buster Gundam is in the works! Its price and release date have not yet been decided.
The celebration of the first anniversary of the Robot Damashii toy line begins with the release of 00 Gundam Seven Swords (below left) this month, followed by Unicorn Gundam in Unicorn mode in November!
Following the release of Unicorn Gundam in the Robot Damashii toy line will be the Stark Jegan, also from "Gundam UC." More details to come!
Due out next month is Kallen's final and most powerful Knightmare Frame, as a highly poseable Robot Damashii figure! Its planned retail price is 4,000 yen.
A Micro Robot Damashii RX-78 Gundam trading-figure lineup is in development, featuring normal First Gundam color, Casbal custom, Real Type color, and G3. The style, poseability, detail, and even the packaging will be similar to those of the Robot Damashii toy line, just in a smaller size! Stay tuned for details!
D-ARMOR
This brilliant new toyline will offer poseable action figures of anime characters, plus their respective mechs in super-deformed size with removable parts that can be used as the figure's armor and weapons. Starting off the series in 2010 will be Kallen and her super-deformed Knightmare Frame Guren.
BM! PROJECT
The famous teenage delinquent from the international hit "Akira" anime movie will get a 1/6-scale action doll release in March 2010, planned to retail for 17,800 yen. His popular motorcycle will feature light-up LEDs and will be offered separately, but details on price and release date were not available at this time.
S.H.FIGUARTS
S.H.Figuarts figures were front and center in this impressive display!
The three main forms of Kamen Rider Double were announced as new entries in the S.H.Figuarts toy line with painted prototypes on display. The forms to be offered are CycloneJoker, HeatMetal, and LunaTrigger. Price and release date for each item have not yet been announced.
Due out in January is a hyper-articulated S.H.Figuarts action figure of Kamen Rider IXA with two interchangeable heads for displaying him in either Save Mode or Burst Mode. It's planned to retail for 3,200 yen.
The famous Namekian Piccolo will mark the start of the "Dragon Ball Kai" lineup in the S.H.Figuarts series, with other exciting entries to follow! Watch for him next month for 3,500 yen.
Following the release of S.H.Figuarts Piccolo will be none other than "Dragon Ball Z" protagonist Son Goku in Super Saiyan mode! Price and release date not have been announced.
A dream come true for fans of the "Pretty Cure" franchise, this highly poseable figure of star heroine Cure Dream from “Yes! Pretty Cure 5 Go! Go!” will finally be released next month, for a planned retail price of 3,000 yen!
Cure Peach, the lead heroine from "Fresh Pretty Cure!”, will be immortalized as a super-poseable S.H.Figuarts action figure! Price and release date have not yet been announced.
"Fresh Pretty Cure!" villainess Eas will gets her very own S.H.Figuarts release, too! Stay tuned for more info!
JIBUN DAMASHII
Jibun Damashii is Bandai's special offering whereby you get to have a picture of your face printed on an action figure to make a one-off figure of yourself as a famous character. The first figure was Kamen Rider #1, and here's the next opportunity, Char Aznable! Pictured below is voice actor Shuuichi Ikeda as Char, whose voice he provided through various "Gundam" series and movies. Unfortunately, this service is only offered to people residing in Japan.
HALF AGE GIRLS
Coming in December is this sweet trading figure series featuring three heroines from "Macross Frontier" depicted at half their age in the show! Klan Klang, two figures of Ranka Lee, and two figures of Sheryl Nome, plus a pearl color version of each, are the 10 possible types to trade and collect. Don't miss out!
CHOUZOUKEI DAMASHII
Due out this month is another superb entry in the Chozoukei Damashii Dragon Ball trading figure series, this time focusing on members of the Ginyuu Force as well as Freeza, Goku, and Vegeta. Each figure will come in a brand new clamshell package design instead of the previous standard Dragon Ball capsule. The package can also double as a display case for the figure!
Pictured here is the Chouzoukei Damashii Kamen Rider trading figure lineup, with a BM! Project Kamen Rider Hibiki action doll standing in the middle. The trading figures were made based on digital scans of their superb BM! Project and RAH action doll counterparts. They're coming in December!
