Shizuoka Hobby Show 2009: Fujimi Highlights
Car Models
This F1 machine was on display to gauge interest. (Somehow, we suspect it would be a metallic red...)
This looks very much like a turbo machine of the latter '80s. With so few kits of cars from this era, this signals good news for fans!
As seen here in commercials featuring George Clooney! (...oh, wait, he might not have wanted the rest of the world to know...sorry, George!)
Fujimi will serve up an F1 model that's something other than a Ferrari!
This kit depicts the car that Ayrton Sena drove to victory in the 1991 Japan Grand Prix.
It looks like the parts for the front orange and white sections will be separate.
The Honda V12 engine itself will have more than 60 parts! The kit's initial production run is planned to include photo-etch parts and seatbelt parts.
Sold in completed form in the past, the Dino 206 will now be offered as a plastic kit. In Japan, this car was a major machine in the 1975-79 manga "Circuit Wolf."
Check out those classic curves from the side!
Planned to have a yellow body, rather than the gray one on display, this beauty is planned for release at the end of this month.
This version is the 2006 pre-opening race design. New parts include the front and rear wings, and more!
Reviving memories of the historic Fiat 500, here comes the New Fiat 500! This compact car is popular all over the world.
Here's the Hino Selega HD JR Bus Kanto. Talk about detail--there are even parts for its on-board toilet!

We've been wondering when and where a brand-new 1/350 Yamato will emerge...but Fujimi surprised us with this 1/500-scale offering planned for this autumn!
The design looks like it's well underway. Could this launch a 1/500 line...?
The 1/350 super kit will be condensed with precision into 1/700 scale.
These kits are both recent releases, but seeing Fujimi's finished examples in person is still mighty impressive!
