| A double dose of Darth. |
Yoshitoku's Samurai Vader helmet with bow and sword comes with a hefty price tag of 189,000 yen! Vader's helmet was originally inspired by samurai armor, so it's interesting to see the concept come full circle! |
Closer look at the magnificent sculpt of the Samurai Vader helmet, by Takayuki Takeya, famous for his work on popular toy lines such as Bandai's "S.I.C." and "Lord of Byston Well" series. |

| Yoshitoku is also offering a full armor set of their Samurai Vader, which goes for a whopping 346,500 yen! |
Both sets are only available through Yoshitoku for "Boys Day" (May 5) in Japan. |

| A few "special guests" were seen at the show. From left to right: Salo Gardener & Stephen Fitzalan (Stormtroopers and other bit parts in the original "Star Wars" trilogy), and Paul Weston (Alien suit actor in the "Aliens" movie). |
... along with Kiran Shah (double for Elijah Wood in "Lord of the Rings" as well as some Star Wars roles) and Shane Rangi (a Ringwraith in LOTR and numerous stunt roles in movies such as "Narnia" and "King Kong") |
TakaraTomy had a big presence at the event with a large area showcasing past Transformers toys, event exclusives, as well as the much anticipated Masterpiece Megatron and Optimus Prime toys from the 2007 "Transformers" movie. |
