This 1/700-scale kit of the Nimitz-class supercarrier CVN-74 John C. Stennis represents her as she appeared in 1998. Can be built either as a full-hull or a waterline model. Includes four S-3 Vikings, four F-14 Tomcats (wings swept or extended), four E/A-6B Prowlers, six F/A-18C Hornets, two E-2C Hawkeyes, two C-2 Greyhounds, and two SH-60F Sea Hawks in clear plastic. Photo-etched parts for small antennas are also included. Inner lid is made of blue vacu-formed plastic with ocean surface detail on it, to be used as a display stand if you build this kit as a waterline model. This release also features a fine fret of photo-etched metal detail parts to enhance the already fantastic detail of this kit. A joint project with Trumpeter models.
