Himeji Castle, located in Himeji in Hyogo prefecture, has undergone some renovations, and will celebrate its grand reopening in March of 2015! This beautifully detailed 1/500 model kit of this iconic castle has about 160 parts, and includes a base. The kit even includes preformed plastic tree trunks with powder to apply to make realistic trees for the surroundings! The instructions are in Japanese but are profusely illustrated in color, and once you're finished you'll have a real showpiece for your collection.
