This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
From the Microace description:
On 23 November 1869, the most famous clipper ship with the name Cutty Sark was launched at Dambarton. Due to the opening of the Suez Canal in very same year of her launching, this allowed the steamers to reach the far east via the mediterranean instead of marking a long voyage around the Cape of Good Hope. The Cutty Sark's involvement was short lived and eventually became the last ship to decorate the golden age of sailing ships of the time. During the early part of the 1800s, European trading was in good business, including the clipper services, carrying opium to China and bringing home Chinese Tea.
This model kit contains a mix of plastic resin and injection molded parts. For serious model builders only!
