1/35 GAZ-MM Mod. 1943 Soviet Truck WWII

While the US Army relied on its tough GMC CCKW truck to haul supplies to the front, the Soviets relied on the 1.5-ton-capacity GAZ trucks to haul theirs. When metal became scarce during the war, the GAZ trucks used wood and canvas for body parts, resulting in the GAZ-MM. Zvezda's kit of this Russian legend does it justice with crisp moldings and a nicely detailed engine. Tires are molded in black styrene. Cover for cargo bed included. The simple decal sheet provides serial numbers for one vehicle.
