This item is a resin and white metal ship model kit.

From the Yankee Modelworks website:

"Kit is over 18 inches long!"

"All dive planes and rudders are molded in resin. Pericopes are metal. Plans taken from official Navy sources which makes the kit the most accurate Ohio class FBM on the market today. The surface detail is so good that even the missile hatches have the very small vents seen on the surface door."
