Kanegon Counter Bank Gold

Hey, it's Kanegon, that forlorn coin-eating creature from the '60s Japanese show "Ultra Q"! And just like in the show, he's more than ready to swallow and count coins. Of course, he can only count Japanese coins (1-yen to 500-yen coins, to be exact)...but what did you expect? He's Japanese! ...But wait! He's also an alarm clock and a slot game! (The slot machine function works with Japanese 500-yen coins, so other currencies are out of luck.) In addition, his eyes light up and he talks, triggered by a sensor in his neck. There's no indication at all on the packaging or in the accompanying literature as to what exactly he might say, but it's a safe bet it's in Japanese. A very good sculpt of Kanegon, standing about 30cm tall. This version is finished in gold (see normal color version linked below!). Requires two AAA batteries, sold separately.
