The good news is that this new Knight of Gold kit, the first in this large scale, is far, far better done than those Eva kits. In the box, the kit appears to be a very professional tooling with good detail throughout. Uses poly-caps for complete poseability. Kit does require cement and paint to complete, however, and you must also follow the diagrams carefully in the (Japanese only) instructions in order to cut poly-caps to shape for use in individual joints. Recommended for experienced modelers. Comes in an unforgivably oversized and flimsy box, perhaps the kit's worst feature.
