The KV-I presented a major challenge for German anti-tank and tank gun crews early in WWII. Its thick armor easily deflected the German 37mm and 50mm armor-piercing rounds, and its 76mm dual-purpose gun proved to be extremely dangerous.

Here Trumpeter has depicted the "Ehkranami" model with additional armor applied to the turret and hull. Tracks are flexible belts (track sag as depicted on the box photo is not molded in), and markings (Russian slogans) are included for one vehicle.
