Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 104 parts. 20.2cm long when completed.

This kit is basically a scaled-down version of Trumpeter's 1/32 Warhawk kit, and looks to build into a very nice model. Like its big brother, the cockpit is a bit too shallow, however there are already P-40B aftermarket cockpit sets that should fix this very nicely. The control surfaces are all seperate parts, however they are not movable and all have locking tabs that fit into slots for solid construction. The flaps are designed to be lowered, but if the tabs were trimmed off they could easily be retracted. The wheel well detail is quite well done, and the cowl intakes nice and deep. Panel lines and rivets are recessed and should look alright under a couple of coats of paint. Decals are for a pre-war/early war USAAC bird and a desert-camoflaged RAF bird with a colorful sharkmouth! I guess we can stop building the old Monogram kit now.
