Trumpeter updates one of their better offerings, the Spit Vb, with new parts for the "tropical" version. This kit has fine detail and overall appears to be a accurate rendition of the classic British fighter. Great rivet effects in all the right places, and some of the parts have the gates (the joint between the runners and the actual part) thoughtfully molded onto the connection surface of the parts rather than surfaces which will be visible after assembly. New parts include both styles of carburator sand filter used, with markings for I.R. Gleed's aircraft as well as serial number BR195 "AN T".
