1/24 Type 2 Fighter Seaplane A6M2-N

Trumpeter's latest BIG release is a Rufe! This kit features a new fuselage and wing to correctly represent the floatplane version of the Zero, as well as new floats and a beaching dolly with boarding ladder. Just looking in the box, the fuselage looks much better than the original Zero release in shape, and the level of detail is very good. However, the famous Trumpeter ejector-pin demon has been hard at work, and why are detailed wing guns and ammo drums included when there is no option for open gun bays? Still, this will make a very impressive kit, even more so than the Zero as it will be much longer and a LOT taller! Markings are included for 3 planes, one in overall gray, one with green topsides and gray unders and vertical stabilizer, and a third in a more standard green over gray scheme.
