Trumpeter continues their new 1/72 Lightning family with this F.1A/F.2 kit. Parts are included for both the F.1A and F.2 variants, but which is which is best left to those familiar with the type. The level of detail is quite high, with impressive cockpit and landing gear areas. Red Top and Firestreak missiles are included, with the Firestreaks molded in clear. Decals are given for Lightning F.1As "XM181" and "XM182" as well as F.2 "XN779."
