1/35 Russian PT-76 Amphibious Tank

The PT-76 is a lightly armored but fully amphibious fighting vehicle. Manned by a crew of three and armed with a 76mm main gun, the PT-76 is often used to transport troops. It has seen service with the Warsaw Pact countries and elsewhere throughout the world.

Trumpeter's third PT-76 kit is sharply molded in gray styrene, and like the previous two releases, includes a bit of twine for the tow cables and brass wire for other details. The tracks are flexible belts. Photo-etched metal detail parts are included. An interesting feature is the inclusion of the two water jet ducts leading from the intakes on the bottom of the hull to the nozzles on the rear of the hull. Markings are provided for two vehicles, one apparently Russian and one apparently Middle-Eastern...no identification is given for the markings (placement is shown, of course).
