The Russian MAZ-537G tank transporter first saw light as a prototype in 1958, with full production beginning in 1960. With its 525hp engine and 50-ton load-carrying ability, it was able to transport a wide variety of heavy cargo.
Trumpeter's highly anticipated kit of the MAZ-537G with MAZ/ChMZAP-5247G trailer is sharply molded in light gray styrene, and is quite a big bag full of plastic! The detail is exquisite (the complex suspension is astounding!), and included are four fine frets of photo-etched metal detail parts, brass wire, decals, die-cut masks for the windows, and 18 rubber tires. Also includes comprehensive instructions in English with a full-color marking and painting guide sheet. T-55 tank and figures as shown in the box art are not included.
