This item is a Japanese-language magazine about anime. 386 pages.
Known outside Japan as "Sherlock Hound", the Japanese title of this Studio Ghibli series is literally translated as "Famous Detective Holmes." Hayao Miyazaki scripted and directed six episodes in 1981, but due to conflict with the estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, production was delayed until legal issues were resolved in 1984. At this time Studio Ghibli went on to produce an additional 20 episodes, though Miyazaki did not have a hand in them. This book contains storyboards for three of the six Miyazaki episodes: The Little Client; The Kidnapping of Mrs. Hudson; and The Blue Ruby. 386 pages; soft bound with a slipcover and a hard cardboard case for additional protection.
