As usual, Replicant showcases recent figure kits and prepainted models, and this issue is a particularly good one. Bubba's Shippon and Arisa (both from "Space Stellvia") are featured on the front cover and in a special article. Lots of kits by independent sculptors fill this issue, and a fair-sized section on prepainted models and gashapon is sure to please; a photographic report on the 2004 Summer Wonder Festival adds even more value. This issue's "making" tutorial features Ryujin's Kazami Mizuho (a kit not available through HLJ, unfortunately). The techniques used in the painting can be applied to any kit, so it's still a very useful walkthrough. The usual advertisements and interviews are included in the back as well. 144pp.
