Product Overview:

This item is a Japanese-language book or magazine about figures and/or figure modeling. 44 pages.

As usual, Replicant showcases recent figure kits and prepainted models, and this issue is a particularly good one. Kurushima's "Asuka Langley Ice Candy" kit has a special section (and a special spot on the cover); and a really thorough report on Wonder Festival (February 2004) is included, with lots of colour photographs of notable entries, by "big" names as well as by some less well-known but equally-talented sculptors. A section devoted to gashapon figures is sure to delight; and this issue's "making" tutorial walks you through the cleanup and building of T's System's 1/6 scale kit of Nakahara Komugi in her 'private' clothing -- a kit not yet available through HLJ, but we're holding out hope! The techniques used in the building can be applied to any kit, so it's still a very useful walkthrough. The usual advertisements and interviews are included in the back as well. 44pp.
