1/48 "Propeller Action" P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop

This release of Tamiya's outstanding bubbletop Jug features all the stunning detail and accuracy of the original release, plus a fully self-contained motor unit that will let you "taxi" your plane around your workbench! The landing gear wheels turn with high-quality bearings so that the thrust produced by the turning prop is actually enough to taxi the plan around your desktop! Directional control is achieved by turning the tailwheel strut. Includes a frame of rubber parts for the motor and battery mount, as well as bearings for the wheels, metal tailwheel strut and propeller shaft and, of course, the motor itself. One AA battery is required for operation. At least it doesn't just sit there on the shelf like other models!!
