Tamiya's previous P-47D releases have been widely heralded as some of the best aircraft kits ever, and now with this P-47M not only can you build the "hot rod" Jug, but all the parts from the D release are also included so those of you with a big stash of aftermarket decals will definitely want this kit! Both styles of tail fillet are included (D-style as well as N-style), plus fillet-less parts, as well as corrugated and uncorrugated floors, dive brakes, correct engine fronts for both M and D and all the propeller options, so you could also use this kit to build any bubbletop D model variant as well as the M model. Tamiya seems to be making a habit of offering a lot of options with their recent releases, here's hoping they continue the trend! Decals are included for 3 aircraft: Capt. Witold Lanowski's blue-black and natural metal "HV Z" as shown on the boxtop, Lt. Russell Kyler's "Lorene" "HV J" in the same paint scheme and Maj. George Bostwick's two-tone-blue and natural metal "UN Z".
