1/48 Dornier Do335A Pfeil

Like so many other amazing German aircraft, the Pfeil, too, suffered from the inability of the Third Reich to produce in quantity, and in a timely fashion, something that on paper, and in limited testing proved to be a most impressive weapon.

Tamiya's kit of this uniquely-configured two-engined aircraft is just as good as everything they do these days, with superb detail everywhere you look. It's a big plane, too, with about twice the bulk of a Bf109, so be prepared to assign it plenty of shelf space! The kit features bomb bay doors that can be positioned opened or closed (one bomb included), open or closed cowl flaps, a pilot figure, and decals for three different Pfeils (two A-0s, and one A-1).
