1/35 German Sd.Kfz.222 Armored Car North Africa

The German Sd.Kfz.222 was a 4WD light armored car widely used in the reconnaissance role by the German Army in WWII. Tamiya released the original kit in 1975, and since then it has been highly regarded by AFV modelers for decades. Again re-released in 2003 with a photo-etched set for the turret canopy and a lathed aluminum 2cm gun barrel plus a sprue of fuel drums (x3pcs.) and "Jerry cans"(x8pcs.) from the German Fuel Drum Set (TAM35186), this great old kit has yet again been re-released, this time with all the above plus a DKW NZ350 motorcycle with two types of riders. Also includes a commander and and radio operator figure, and decals for three Afrika Korps versions. It just goes to show you, great old kits never die--they just get more cool stuff added to them!
