1/35 U.S. 40 Ton Tank Transporter "Dragon Wagon"

Tamiya celebrates the 30th anniversary of their MM (Military Miniature) series in a very big way, producing what is easily the most impressive scale model product to come out of the firm in years.

20 runners of parts, three large separately-molded pieces, two photo-etched sheets, 19 rubber tires and numerous metal screws, shafts, chains and hinges go together to form a model that's over 50cm long when completed. Everywhere you look you can find examples of Tamiya's brilliant attention to detail, from the tiniest of bolts to the subtle surface texture of the differential case. The number of building options the kit provides are too plentiful to list completely, but major choices allow you to open or close the cab window armor, freely position the winch arm and loading skids, adjust wheel position for loads, and of course, reconfigure the entire cargo bed depending on what's being hauled.

The kit comes with four figures, all in seated positions (including a driver). Decals are provided for four different U.S. vehicles, and one Japanese JGSDF truck from the 1950s.
