The ever-growing threat from the air was a great problem for ground combat units, especially for tank units. They are very vulnerable when marching on the road. Germany built up many anti-air vehicles during the war; the 3.7cm gun was one of its choice. From combat experience, SdKfz.7/2 was given an armored driver's cabin and radiator shield to protect its crew, beginning in mid-1943. Tamiya has also made the change to its SdKfz7/1 with quad 2cm gun kit(TAM35050), in 1989. The large box-like armored cabin really changed the appearance of the vehicle. The 3.7cm gun is highly detailed with 43 parts alone. Tracks are rubber belt type. No figure included.
