1/35 M113A1 Fire Support Vehicle

M113 APC is the best-selling Armored Personnel Carrier among the US allies in the late 20th century. One of the complaints about this APC was that it lacked the appropriate firepower. Australia converted its diesel-powered M113A1 with the turret from Saladin armored car and built up the fire support vehicle. This vehicle was deployed in Vietnam War in the early 1970s but did not engage in the battle. This is the re-release of this interesting vehicle first produced in 1979. Moldiings are of the Tamiya standard of that time and are still fine. Relatively few parts, easy to assemble. One crew figure (half-bodied) is included.
