The British Cromwell tank was a high-speed medium "Cruiser" tank. Its development was finalized late in the war, by which time Sherman tanks had become the mainstay of Commonwealth armored divisions. The Cromwell found its place, however, in a reconnaissance role, and did an excellent job there. Tamiya's model features a die-cast metal chassis and link-and-length injection plastic tracks, the standard of this series. Includes markings for three British Army vehicles.
