Trumpeter/Pit-Road gave us a fine rendering of Missouri in 2002 in her modern form; now Tamiya antes up with a brilliant kit of this all-too-famous battleship in her historical glory from the end of World War II. Hull is split left/right with a third bottom piece. Main guns secured with polycap grommets to turn after assembly. Includes OS2U Kingfisher and SC-1 Seahawk aircraft, too. 20 and 40mm guns are beautifully and finely molded.
