Tasca is a new brand name from Bego, and wow, they've proved they were paying attention in the years some of their staff spent working for Tamiya! The kit in this box easily looks like it could have been produced by that firm.

'Luchs' is the German word for 'lynx' and considering the wild cat's explosive nature, agility and ferocity, it's a great name for this fast reconnaissance tank. Molds are fine and crisp, well suited for representing the thin armor of this light tank (this comes to note especially with the thickness of the edge at the turret hatch openings). Muzzles of the guns are molded open. The division of parts is quite similar to the real thing and even details hidden by other parts are molded as well (for instance, at the final reduction gear cover bases, there are holes for securing bolts!) Part of the turret interior, seen through the hatches, is nicely detailed; the unique wavy pattern on the road wheels is reproduced perfectly. Even the subtle dimples on the wheels (part B53) is not a molding error but a very fine detail! The torsion bar suspension is workable (but don't apply too much stress!). This will be helpful for diorama builders. The tracks are the cementable rubber belt type. A bunch of great accessories, like fuel cans and ammo boxes, are also included. A photo-etched set for the engine grills and star antenna, plus one commander figure, add supreme detail and another level of reality to the kit. The decals are printed by the world-famous Cartograf, known for the superlative quality of their colors. Add this amazing tank to your 1/35 AFV collection today!
