A stunning, hardcover illustration book for the video game series 'Sakura Taisen' (Sakura Wars). The first part of the book is made up of the original character designs by Fujishima Kousuke (also known for the manga 'You're under Arrest!' and 'Ah! My Goddess!); the second half of the book is made up of 'tribute' illustrations of the Sakura Taisen characters, done by various artists such as Yamada Akihiro, Rikudo Koshi, Ito Noidi, Rocket Brothers, Matsubara Hidenori, and several others. Even just for the Fujishima art alone, this book is worth the cost!
