What if the Germans had an aircraft carrier in WWII? Well, they almost did, but it was never completed. With a planned displacement of 27,750 tons, the Graf Zeppelin was to have been crewed by a company of 1,720 and outfitted with an air wing of 110 aircraft, including seagoing versions of the Bf-109 and Ju-87 Stuka. Scuttled by the Germans in 1945, it was later raised by the Russians, who then sank it again with torpedoes in 1947.
Revell's kit of the Graf Zeppelin depicts the carrier in a "what-if" operational condition, complete with its air wing of Bf-109T and Ju-87T aircraft. Decals are provided for the flight deck and aircraft.
