Created during WWI but still in use with the French Army when the Nazis invaded at the beginning of WWII, the Renault FT.17 can be considered one of the epochal tanks in history, a founder of modern tank design with its fully rotating gun turret. The Renault Char B1bis was the most powerful and heavily armored tank of its time at the outset of WWII, packing a 75mm gun in the hull and a 47mm gun in a rotating turret. This set features both famous French tanks in 1/76 scale. The modeler can choose between a machine gun or 37mm cannon for the FT.17's main armament. This is an older kit originally released by Matchbox, but it is finely molded and highly recommended.
