Panzerwrecks is a fascinating series of English-language softcover books that showcase, you guessed it, wrecked panzers! The point being that a whole lot of information can be gleaned from photos of destroyed vehicles, since their interiors and inner workings are often revealed once they've been blasted open. Not all of the vehicles shown have been blown apart; there are plenty of shots of abandoned or captured vehicles, too, also offering a wealth of visual information for modelers or historians. The hallmark of Panzerwrecks publications are the large photographs, mostly 260x170mm or larger, which enable the reader to see details with much greater clarity. These photographs are backed up with informative and insightful captions, for which some of the most knowledgeable people in the field have given their time and expertise to assist with identification.
