1/144 Martian War Machine Attack Diorama Set

Check out this very cool diorama scene kit from George Pal's 1953 film "The War of the Worlds"! The kit includes two of the iconic manta-like Martian War Machines, a terrain base, and two M4A1E8 Sherman tanks (the exact type seen going up against the Martians in the film). Clear parts are provided for the War Machines, including a very cool clear heat ray part, although only one non-heat ray firing cobra head lens is included (photo of a built-up kit shows both machines with non ray-firing lenses...you could just shave the heat ray off of the one lens if you wanted to model it like that!). Also, the photo shows clear rods holding up the War Machines, but the kit-supplied rods are solid gray plastic. No decals are supplied. From Pegasus Hobbies!
