1/144 JASDF UH-60J 40th Anniv

A limited release of two 1/144 JASDF Air Rescue UH-60J kits. The kits are molded in a clear but slightly opaque plastic, and include a nose section with all the bumps molded in for the radars and FLIR turret. The large external fuel tanks and support arms carried by these helicopters are also included, but what is perhaps most impressive is the inclusion of a sheet of photoetched parts to really detail these little models: pitots, antennas, boarding handles, even the windscreen wipers are there! Decals are for two aircraft, the colorful 28-4556 in special markings to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the JASDF and 28-4577 in a standard scheme (but stilll plenty bright, as befits a rescue heli!).
