A set of two incredibly tiny and yet incredibly detailed 190D-9s. These kits include both styles of canopy and head armor for each kit, which means that while the canopies are molded closed it would be a simple matter to have an open canopy on your model by cutting the windscreen section from one style and the canopy section from the other. A separate seat is included for the cockpit, but the more obsessive among us will want to add side consoles, control stick and instrument panel. A separate drop tank and rack are included for the centerline. The landing gear is simply fantastic, with separate main struts, wheels, covers and retraction links. Be careful installing, and don't use the alignment guide in the instructions. Fw190 gear canted forward, so align the long, flat aft section of the MLG cover so that it is parallel to the ground. The instructions would have you align the forward flat section parallel to the ground, and this is incorrect.

Decals are provided for 4 colorful aircraft from JV44: Red 1, Red 3, Red 13 and Red 4. Red 4 is actually a D-11 prototype, so to be accurate you would need to modify the upper cowl, intake and propeller, as well as add the outer wing armament of 1 MK-108 per wing.
