Baltimore class CA was a heavy cruiser with the modern design. But it came into navy only from 1943 due to the navy's preference of light cruisers in pre & early war. With its high capability of AA defense and bombardment, it played important roll to escort aircraft carriers in the Pacific. The model can be built in either waterline or full-hull configuration. Hull is horizontally halved. It has the crispy moldings and good details.
