Completed in 1932, the Fubuki-class IJN destroyer Ikazuchi was active in the aggression against China from 1937, participated in the attacks on Hong Kong on Dec. 8, 1941, and took part in operations in the Aleutian Islands and around Guadalcanal. She was sunk with the loss of all hands by the submarine USS Harder on April 13, 1944.
Pit-Road's kit of the Ikazuchi portrays the vessel as it appeared in 1944. Sharply molded in gray styrene, the kit can be built as either a full-hull or waterline model. Includes decals for the Ikazuchi and sister ship Inazuma. This release also includes a fret of photo-etched detail parts.
