Commissioned November 11 1989, "Abe" was the fifth Nimitz-class supercarrier in the US Navy. The carrier served with distinction in both Persian Gulf conflicts as well as many other military and humanitarian missions, and continues to do so today.
A collaboration with Trumpeter, Pit-Road's new Abraham Lincoln kit can be built either full-hull or waterline, and includes a nice fret of PE parts and a seascape base. Airwing consists of F/A-18F Super Hornets, F/A-18C Hornets, EA-6B Prowlers, SH-60F Ocean Hawks, SH-60B Sea Hawks, HH-goH Rescue Hawks, C-2 Greyhounds, and E-2C Hawkeyes.
