Though designed as an Amphibious Command Ship, state of the art command and communications systems promoted this ship to the position of fleet flagship -- the LCC-20 Mount Whitney is the command ship of the 2nd Fleet. This injection plastic kit comes with options for a full-hull or waterline model. Pit-Road has chosen to replicate the most recent appearence of this ship (as it was in 2004). There are rather few parts to this ship, but don't forget that it's had lots of antennae installed on its flat deck after its refit. Two CIWS are the only weapons on this warship.
