1/35 German Pak40 Panzerjager H39 (f)

After the fall of France, the German Army obtained many French tanks. These soon became obsolete and unsuitable for the regular tank units. The German Army in France decided to convert these tanks to self-propelled guns with anti-tank guns and howitzers -- this was an excellent supplement for the German Army in the west, given low priority to receive the new German-made equipments. The 7.5cm PaK40(Sf) SP anti-tank gun is one of the conversions made to this armour. It applied the German standard 7.5cm anti-tank gun on the French Hotchkiss H39 chassis. The moldings are good (new tooling by Trumpeter) but resembles 1980's standards. The basic accessories to decorate the fighting compartent, radios, machingun with ammo drums and a scissors telescope are included. To match the nature of the open-topped SPG model, the fighting compartments are divided into many parts. Modelling skill to adjust the fit, filling and sanding will be required. A set of national insignia decals and two figures are included.
