1/72 JSDF Air Cushion LCAC No. 1 Class

Able to cruise over land or water at speeds up to 40 knots and carrying up to 60 tons of payload, the Japanese version of the US-built LCAC (Landing Craft, Air Cushioned) greatly expands the capabilities of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.

Surpassing its excellent 1/144 versions, Pit-Road's 1/72 LCAC kit features fine molding and exquisite detailing throughout, with photo-etched metal parts included to enhance the detail even further. The air cushion is rendered in a very soft black rubber. Includes a big sheet of decals and a full-color decal placement and painting guide (all text is in Japanese). A joint project with Trumpeter.
