This freaky-looking prehistoric shark cruised the oceans that covered what is now Europe and North America about 360 million years ago--so the chances of your seeing one of these fellows in person is pretty slim. Its distinctive anvil-shaped dorsal fin is its most memorable feature; scientists are puzzled as to its function. And although this primeval critter could reach 70cm in length, this small resin version from Neko Works is a far more manageable 8cm long, nose to tail. It's ready for you to paint and display (the support rod shown in the photos is not included)--and it's be a great gift for anyone who's fascinated by life before humans came along!
Note: Please note that this is a resin-cast "garage kit" and by definition the parts will need some cleanup--removal of mold lines and flash (excess resin), filling of pinholes and gaps between parts that fit imperfectly, et cetera--before painting and assembly. This is normal, and these sorts of imperfections are not considered manufacturing defects.
