The starspotted smooth-hound shark prefers to hang around near the bottom of the sea in the Western Indian Ocean and the Western Pacific. This small resin version of this primitive fish, from Neko Works, is finely sculpted and cast, and has a wonderful sense of motion in its flowing tail. It's about 9.5cm long from nose to tail, and is ready for you to paint and add to your collection of creatures from the sea--and it would make a great visual aid for a science project, too! (The support pole shown in the photos is not included.)
Note: Please note that this is a resin-cast "garage kit" and by definition the parts will need some cleanup--removal of mold lines and flash (excess resin), filling of pinholes and gaps between parts that fit imperfectly, et cetera--before painting and assembly. This is normal, and these sorts of imperfections are not considered manufacturing defects.
