1/450 Icebreaker Shirase by Nichimo

This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

A re-issue of Nichimo's veteran full-hull model of the Japanese research vessel/ice breaker Shirase that travelled in the Antarctic. Details are not up to modern standards, but it will certainly build up into a nice model of this rare subject. Includes display stand, two S61A helicopters, one smaller helicopter, and decals. Hull molded in bright orange, deck molded in gray, superstructure and other details molded in white.
