This is a fixed-pose resin-cast figure kit.

The staff at Musashiya laughingly call this kit "Okaeri Ruri", because she looks like every Japanese otaku's dream: to have a cute girl in a maid costume waiting for him at home, to welcome him ("okaeri nasai" is a greeting for someone who's just returned from somewhere else). Anyway, the kit is beautiful, very nicely detailed, and of course it's big, in 1/5 scale! 29 parts, high due to the construction of her costume. Have fun painting her -- even though they don't show at all, her underthings are painstakingly detailed! No base is included but should be provided for stability.

Don't forget your pins! Big-scale kits especially need them -- start with 2mm pins and use epoxy glue.

Please note: This is a resin-cast "garage kit" and by definition the parts will need some cleanup--removal of mold lines and flash (excess resin), filling of pinholes and gaps between parts that fit imperfectly, et cetera--before painting and assembly. This is normal, and these sorts of imperfections are not considered manufacturing defects.
