A labor of love by artist/writer Teruhiko Hirayama devoted to the low-production sports wonders of the early post-war years. Coverage includes brands such as Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati, Lancia, Mercedes Benz, Shelby, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Austin Healey, M.G., Triumph, Lotus, Morgan, Fiat, Renet Bonnet, Alpine Renault, Datsun, Toyota and Honda. Beautiful color art plates by the author on many of the types, and b/w photos sprinkled throughout. This is a special limited-edition printing of the book originally published in 2000 (#168/350 -- we only have one in stock!) that includes a print of his Ferrari 250GTO Berlinetta painting signed by the artist. Ships in a cardboard slipcase.
