Product Overview:This item is a book or magazine about tanks/AFVs and/or military modeling.

The world's premier AFV modeling magazine. Numerous dioramas and how-to articles. As usual, new item reviews and other articles finish out the issue. English photo and illustration captions sprinkled throughout (though not on all photos or illustrations). 21cm x 25.5cm format. Published monthly now. This issue features painting techniques, starting from the basic combination of air-brush painting and orthodox finishing (washing, dry-brush and powdered pastel etc.) on Dragon's King Tiger/Porsche kit(DRA6189). It also introduces brush painting and weathering techniques using lacquer paints only, on Tamiya's Steyr 1500A Command Wagen(TAM35235). New techniques using 'Copic Markers', the alcohol-based color pens designed for illustrations and which have recently come into use in 3D projects, are introduced. Finishing with Copic Markers is currently the most sophisticated method for finishing, popular among Japanese Sci-Fi robots modelers. How will it influence AFV modelling? Check it out!
